It’s Okay, I am Here

For every tear, you have shed, for every sleepless night, you have aimlessly laid in bed –

For every time you suffered shame, and felt to blame for the decisions that other’s made –

For every time you had to close the door on a relationship that was not working anymore –

For every time you died a little bit inside because no one seemed to care that life was treating you so unfair –

For every time you tossed and turned, looking up toward the sky to cry for help while other’s lie, and you wondered, “Why me?” –

For every pain, you have felt inside, for every dark and dreary day you have somehow miraculously survived –

For every time you felt betrayed by someone you loved, for every time you tried to forgive, but men only wanted to relive your past –

For every time

I was there by your side

Carrying you through

Your troubled times

I have been here through it all!

    • Desiray, He sure is always with us, but there are times in our lives that we need a reminder. I know there have been times when I felt forsaken and without hope. We have to reach out and encourage one another because we never know what a person is going through.
